Something I try to remember to tell myself every day and it is helpful.

It's funny how change happens. Sometimes it comes down from a mountain like Moses holding commandments over his holy head, and sometimes, it slips into your hea...rt while you're sleeping. You don't even notice the arrow that pierces the constantly pounding little muscle in your chest -and the direction you were headed in. Life has not been easy. Change came and sat down at our kitchen tables and ATE EVERYTHING. Change interrupted every conversation and then let the cat out. Change stole your lover and shrunk your favorite sweater. Change got us fired from our jobs and cancelled our trips to Mexico and made us gain 15 pounds on our new chips and boxed wine diets. (Thank the Universe, I don't touch the stuff) It's not the big things that happen in my life that have the biggest effect, it's the tiniest, most sublime and unexpected happenings that seem to shift and alter the shape of my soul. I feel good. I feel somehow restored. I feel like the light got brighter and the blue got bluer and the air got sweeter. I feel like I jumped out of a cake. Even through all of this change, I kept telling myself to find happiness in all the small corners of my life. I made a commitment to myself to be more open to people and more open to being vulnerable and seen. I have written SO MUCH MUSIC and that has surprised me. Even when you don't FEEL like doing things,- do them anyway. Even when you don't want to walk, GO OUTSIDE AND WALK. I am terrible at asking for help, and yet I found myself reaching out to people and accepting it with open arms. It felt like I was becoming a different version of myself even after all these years. Change was waiting on it's haunches. Being afraid of change is like being afraid of falling in Love. You can't do a single thing about it. It's completely involuntary. When you're afraid of something, at least you're considering it, noticing it, acknowledging it. You cannot believe the things you can do. If you just do them. Something is happening. Something is whirling about like a conspiracy of Ravens. I can feel the air moving and it's pretty damn wonderful. Covid doesn't have to stop you from feeling and being joyful. So keep on ignoring change. And it will ignore you.

Embrace Life... It is the LOVE that truly sets us free to be open enough to be the change we wish to see and experience. In this current world I see so much fe...ar blocking the LOVE and it sure seems to me that we are at a critical point where we must choose LOVE & FAITH more now than ever before in our human evolution. If we want a loving world, we must all choose LOVE. The world is a reflection of us. See more
