This first time I remember manifesting something was in elementary school. I remember a question: what makes you happy? I said when I get extra pickles on my McDonald’s cheeseburger. I remember feeling wildly excited about the idea of extra pickles (although I never asked for them). That day my dad surprised us with McDonald’s and wouldn’t you know it my burger had SO many, the excitement I felt as the pickles kept coming. SEVEN pickles, my heart was racing, I couldn’t wait to tell all my friends what had happened

When I was younger I used to downplay my interest in something if I wasn’t the VERY best at it. It was like I didn’t want to offend someone else who was really into it, by saying I was too. It was like my identity was going to be perceived as competition. Anyways, I’m so happy I shed that. For me: I’m an artist and there may be more talented and more dedicated artists out there, but I love art and creating . I also love fashion and love putting together interesting outf...its, even though my new clothes budget is bursting at the seams (see the pun there? Lol) . Anyways what I’m getting at is don’t let someone else’s identity or skill set limit you from exploring or owning the things you love. . . So here’s me over the moon . . The most morbid thing I’ll probably ever write: . . Don’t judge me: one of the top reasons I prioritize family photos is this: if someone in my family dies, am I going to regret not having the best quality images of them. .... . If I die, will my family have ANY photos of me. Any photos that show how much I love them. Our connection, showing our love? . . Do these photos have to be high quality? No. But do I love them more because they are? 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% yes. . These photos mean EVERYTHING to me. Was it stressful worrying about if my kids would behave? Yes. Was it stressful picking outfits? (No it was fun , but I know that’s not the case for lots of people lol) . Is it worth it? ALWAYS. . Brittany Flegel Also: Last day to book in your mini session! Momma’s got all the emotions! . First up: When did this happen???! . Stel is going to Pre K. She’s nervous, but meeting the teacher and seeing her classroom helped. Side note: that didn’t help me, I’m still wondering how in the world my first baby is going to school ... tomorrow morning we start a new tradition of taking a photo for the first day of school.
