This is exactly how I am heading into 2021 - with a sense of humour and funky mirror shades to remind me that what I put out there reflects right back at me. As my energy changes, so does the energy around me. As a life path 5, heading into not only a universal 5 year (meaning the entire planet...yes that means you too...so buckle up), but also a personal 5 year, BIG changes and chaos are inevitable and often occur quickly and without warning. This is the year to let go o...f the old that weighs us down and step into a lighter frame of mind and existance. There is no old to go back to. As the world recreates so are we recreating ourselves. Let the tower crumble. I have always wanted to go surfing. I feel this will be the energy of 2021. In 2020, our foundation was shook up, tossed around and now we are rebuilding a new world. Thought I'd share the words below (which are not mine btw)....as this past week ...the first one into the new year has been one hell of an intro to 2021. I honestly feel that 2020 was nothing if not just a warm up of what is to come and shake things up like we never imagined. We have seen so much hatred, blame, shame, accusations and division over this past week that I felt these words were so perfectly timed. Wishing you all a wonderful week and the best advice my mother ...gave to me ....if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. 'Just look around at everything, nothing's real but who we are and what we feel.' -The Glorious Sons- A War on Everything Working parents want kids to go back to school because school closures directly impacts them. Teachers don’t want schools to open because covid spreading round their school directly impacts them. Hospital staff want a full lockdown because sick covid patients directly impacts them. Business owners want to carry on as normal because lockdown directly impacts them. People with physical health problems want everyone to stay socially distant because catching covid could kill them. People with mental health problems want people to spend time with because isolation could kill them. Some can’t wait for a vaccine because they believe it will bring back some normality. Some are terrified of a vaccine because they believe it could harm them. We are all going through this, but none of us are going through the same thing. Some face crippling financial challenges, others face heart break. We don’t all have to agree with what is best because what’s best for us won’t be best for everyone. We don’t have to understand what others are going through. But we do need to stick together and keep loving each other no matter our differences. We need to be mindful when some things go the way we want it to, it could be terrible news to another person. Happy New moon in Scorpio Recent studies have shown that listening to older music and rewatching those tv shows we enjoyed years ago have helped many of us through this pandemic. I personally have just started watching Friends again! Nostalgia provides us with a sense of peace and comfort taking us back to simpler and happy times. Have you caught yourself floating back to the past? Relationships, family dynamics? Tv shows? Music?... I found this photo in one of my albums and I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was 7 years old here. I loved to play with Barbies, write songs and stories and create and sell my own art door to door (until my parents shut that down, lol)...those were my passions that filled my days. How would you fill your days before you grew up and replaced those childhood dreams with adult expectations and obligations? What were your dreams?
