We are officially open for business This is welcome news & I’m so excited to see everyone again. There are some changes that you need to be aware of, the clinic will not be operating at full capacity. I will be available 4 days a week with reduced treatment hours. I need to ask for your patience while I navigate through all the new procedures & protocols. ... The clinic has always maintained a high level of cleaning/disinfecting. This will be further heightened, with the removal of all non essential items from the treatment rooms, to allow for more efficient practices to disinfect our spaces and all client touch points between appointments. As you can imagine, this will require longer transition time between clients, which directly affects the number of treatments I can provide in a day. To maintain social distancing, we must restrict client to client contact. You will be asked to wait in your vehicle until such time as you are contacted (in person or called/texted) to enter the clinic for your treatment. Upon entering the clinic, you will need to wear a mask, if you don’t have a mask I have cloth ones available for you to use during your treatment & I will launder them after use. Alternatively, I have disposable masks available to purchase for $2 each. Your face mask is required to be worn throughout your treatment. As a precaution to minimize risk to myself and clients, preferred methods of payment are, e-transfer or contactless payment (debit/credit). Some of you may have already heard the announcement on the news that Massage Therapy services can begin a gradual restart. While this is welcome news, I’m not ready to open just yet. There are some very important pieces I’m getting in place, such as preparing my treatment room (removing non-essential items and establishing new routines) as well as acquiring all the necessary PPE. The CMTO (my regulatory college) has further defined the limits of massage therapy to be provided as essential treatments only; where the perceived need and benefits of receiving treatment outweigh the risk of possibly contracting Covid-19. Many of you have reached out with kind words of support & expressed how much you are missing your Massage Therapy treatments. I’m so grateful to everyone for your ongoing kindness & support. Please know, I miss seeing everyones smiling faces & I’m looking forward to returning to providing the work that I love so much. Soon it will be safe to proceed with stage 2 of re-opening our economy and Massage Therapy treatments can resume. I am busy behind the scene, getting all the necessary PPE to ensure your treatments will be safe. Stay home, stay safe & we’ll see each other again soon
