Pivot - we have made some pretty substantial changes in our life the last few months: a move to another City (We are loving it here in Sarnia), virtual school for the kids, and adding a puppy to the mix! I've chosen to pause my career as we settle in with this new routine. My decision to go back to work will likely be based on when we feel we want to stop virtual option and and send the kids back to school. Last Thursday, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp (CMHC) said they would tighten rules for offering mortgage insurance effective - July 1, 2020. This will make mortgage qualification harder for borrowers, who offer less than 20% downpayments by: Establishing a minimum credit score of 680 instead of the current 600 Tighten gross debt servicing ratios to a requirement of 35 per cent of annual income, in comparison with the current threshold as high as 39 per cent Borrowed... downpayments not considered equity for insurance purposes. grocery delivery What's has worked for you? What has NOT worked? We were in 14 day self isolation - our scheduled grocery delivery was cancelled the same day it was supposed to arrive!! I couldn't find any other local grocery stores that were even accepting new orders. BUT I found app- CORNER STORE- recommended in local community group. We got our groceries same day, luckily.
