This is usually such an exciting and exhausting time at CSOPA. It would have been the last week of regular classes plus the big push to get our Mainstage production ready. We miss all the students and their parents. We miss the band rehearsals; the costume fittings; the painting, hunting and creation of props and set pieces. We miss all our friends at the Cultural Centre < We wish you all a very happy holiday season and a healthy, happy New Year. ... Email sent to all CSOPA families. Hello CSOPA Family Due to the current number of schools that are contact tracing, we have decided it is prudent to not run physical classes at CSOPA this week. This action is far more cautious than anything Fraser Health asks anyone to do, but it is a decision we made with the health of everyone in our community in mind.... WE DO NOT HAVE A PRIMARY TRANSMISSION EVENT AT CSOPA but we would like to keep it that way. Thank you to everyone for being so conscientious is our community. We are proactively suspending in person classes this week and either moving them online or rescheduling a makeup class in the Spring. Your performers director will be in touch to either provide you with a zoom link to attend classes online or arrange for a makeup class in the spring. We are all healthy and want to keep it that way. If you find yourself returning refundable drink containers to the Return-It Depot, you could help us out by donating the refund amount to CSOPA. You will need our phone number and PIN code (below) for our account to be credited. You can be in any community in BC that has a depot, so feel free to share this far and wide. How it works: 1. Put your containers in clear plastic bags, no sorting needed! 2. At the Express depot, use CSOPA’s phone number (604-792-9469) to log in at t...he kiosk and print your bag labels, remember one label per bag. I have ordered labels to be sent to CSOPA. You can pick up a couple at the office if you prefer. 3. Put a label on each of your bags and drop them off. You need to use our PIN (E132444) for Express Drop Off. 4. They will sort your containers and credit our Express account. Some depots will not accept alcoholic beverage containers in the Express. Check at the link below. Hallmark Mysteries will be filming in the neighbourhood on Friday and Saturday. No traffic disruptions but parking may be less on our street. Filming at Harvest Cafe, Vineyard Community Centre and around the clock tower.
