On the eve of our Sports Expo debut, here are some more kind words from a goalie (Cole) and his mom (Lauri). Thanks guys! "Hello Goalies Our son Cole, age 16 began working on synthetic ice with Greg of CTC Goaltending in the spring of 2017. Weekly sessions have allowed Cole to work on specific areas of his development, while in a challenging yet motivating setting. Greg has done an excellent job of allowing Cole to maintain his game, while being well coached towards improve...ment. Greg has looked to establish a sincere and trustworthy environment. Cole feels synthetic ice (Elitecore Performance Training) is harder and more challenging but it really prepares for easier movements on real ice. For example, a half push on synthetic ice transfers to a full perfect push in real ice. Cole says learning perfection on synthetic ice allows him to have mastery of specific edge work on real ice. 'This improves my overall performance and I look and feel like a better goalie. Worth the investment!' As parents, it is cost effective, less travel time and more accommodating to our schedules. We have noticed a more efficient and confident goalie. Highly recommend regular training!"
Come check out our booth this weekend! Friday 5pm - 9pm Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm... See the benefits of goaltending instruction and chat with some goalies we have had the pleasure of working with! A big thanks to Chatham-Kent SportsXpress and RPM Designs for making this happen.
Great visual on Box Control. A concept that every goaltender should have a basic understanding of. It's much easier to guard the smaller net INFRONT of you instead of the bigger net behind you!
