Hunters Hill Neighborhood Single Family Residential Development - Hunters Hill is a unique subdivision project in Summerland, BC that includes 148 single family lots with 500 acres of preservation land interwoven through the homes. CTQ led a major downtown and highway revitalization plan for the Town of Whitecourt, Alberta. In collaboration with DCL Siemens Engineering of Edmonton, CTQ was retained to conduct an in-depth review of a community that is undergoing intense economic growth due to the oil and gas industry, forestry and mining. Council determined that the community also had tourism potential but revitalization of the historic downtown and the commercial area along the Provincial highway was ...required to draw in incremental visitation.The downtown competes with the upper town (highway) and the new commercial (large format stores) area. The CTQ/DCL Siemens team investigated every component of several blocks and streets. A Plan was created that contained 12 Goals and 43 Objectives/Projects to move the community forward in its quest for revitalization. We worked closely with a very involved committee, engaged the business community in the two main commercial areas and consulted with the general public to gather opinion and test important details. A series of recommendations were included to assist Town Staff and the Committee to implement the plan. Andrew has been with the company since 2012, during which time he has gained a vast knowledge of the industry, while demonstrating the leadership qualities that have been instrumental to the development of CTQ. Prior to joining CTQ, Andrew spent five years with MNP, where he was successful in completing his Chartered Accountant (CA) Designation. When Haruko first came to Canada from Chiba, Japan in the late 1990’s, she successfully completed the ESL, Office Administration program at Selkirk College in Castlegar. In 2005, Haruko graduated from OUC with diploma in the Civil Engineering Technology. Haruko, joined CTQ in 2007 and has been instrumental in the growth and structure of the CAD group and the development of the processes and templates. Aside from Civil design, Haruko has a passion in permaculture and has been involved in a number of community activities. Antonio is a registered P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC. With more than 20 years of professional experience.He has been the main Consultant Engineer for two of the largest water utilities in the Okanagan Valley. Steve Tobler, AScT, CCA- started his career with CTQ in 2003, and was the second employee hired to join the company. Steve was hired on as a design drafting technician. His dedication to producing quality work and his ability to persevere through challenges earned him the position of project manager. Steve is a stickler for details and ensuring that he is providing his clients with the highest level of service. He has a great deal of knowledge in all facets of land development and contract administration. Dave Cullen is the principal Transportation Engineer for CTQ Consultants Ltd. He has gained significant transportation system planning, design and construction experience over the past 20 years. Prior to joining CTQ in the winter of 2006, David spent 3 years with Stantec Consulting in Kelowna, 15 years with Earth Tech (Reid Crowther) in Kelowna and 4 years with the Ministry of Transportation and Highways Bridge Engineering Department.
