The pool is officially closed for the season! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the pool! Whether your children participated in swimming lessons, you swam with us in the morning or came public swimming, we truly appreciate it!! It is because of you that we are able to make improvements each season and open our doors! We already can’t wait for next season and hope to be able to open to full capacity and put on some fun activities once again! Stay healthy & have a great school year to all our students, and a safe harvest to our farmers!! See you next season for some more summer fun!

The sun is finally making its debut again... and we couldn’t be more excited! Only two days left to get your fill of swimming in before we close on Friday! Public swim 1:00-5:00pm.

Yesterday evening, the lifeguard embraced the wind and cold weather and competed in the 3rd annual Lifeguard Olympics! It was a fun way to end the season together, as there are only 4 guards left at the pool this week, while the other prepare to ‘return’ to University. Raelyn, Kyle, Stacey & Tyra came out with the big win!

Meet guard #8/8 - Kyle Palchinski Kyle has been at the pool for 3 seasons! If you were wondering why Kyle wasn’t around as often as the rest of us, it was because he was busy being a carpenter this summer! But thankfully he worked at the pool whenever we needed some help! When Kyle wasn’t at the pool or working another job, he is probably at the lake or hanging out ‘with the boys’! Kyle would have been heading to Regina this fall to attend the University of Regina studying Kinesiology. But he will stick around here for a few more month and study virtual! You got this, Kyle!

Meet guard #7/8 - Colby Gampe Colby, the man of the pool, has been a lifeguard at the pool for 3 seasons! He is 1 of 2 lucky fellows that gets the ‘opportunity’ to work alongside us 6 ladies. Colby doubles as the maintenance man and is always willing to help with any pump room issues and broken objects we may have! When Colby is not at work he is probably driving around (did you see that coming ). Colby is going into his first year of University this fall! Although he is a great maintenance man, we think he is going to make an even better nurse one day! Tomorrow is his last guard shift before he begins focusing on school. Best of luck, Colby!

It turned out to be a nice, sunny day today! We are so happy to see swimmers still taking advantage of the nice weather and open pool!! Saturday, August 29th is our last day of full-time hours! Public swim from 1:00-4:30pm & 5:00-8:00pm! Beginning Sunday, August 30th public swim hours will be from 1:00-5:00 until Friday September 4th! Come for one last dip before summer officially comes to a close & the students return back to school!
