The Electoral Office would like to highlight the difference between the "abstain" and "no confidence" options on the Electronic Voting Ballot. Individuals vote ‘No Confidence’ when the student feels although no Candidate is fit to hold the given position. Individuals vote ‘Abstain’ when there lies a conflict of interest, or they believe all Candidates are deserving but do not wish to cast a vote, out of respect. For example a student could abstain if they do not feel adequate...ly informed about the Candidates or election. #CUVote21
