People have been conversing with computers since the 1960s, when Joseph Weizenbaum of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology created a chatbot called Eliza...A great deal of progress has been made since Eliza’s day. Every modern smartphone ships with a built-in voice assistant. Big computing firms such as Amazon and Google sell smart speakers... https://play.acast.com//c58bba9a-01e5-4703-bafd-cf21ea9cf5

Another of my favorite authors for linguistics is Margalit Fox. I never found a book by her that touched on language science and wasn't fantastic. Steven Pink...er is another favorite author of mine. Fox is maybe my top author for a popularizer sort of book about language science or foreign languages. See more

Fantastic news! Our Kickstarter campaign to create ULUS, a game to support the Mongolian language, script, and culture, has launched! In a little while I'll exp...lain more about the game and why it is both important and urgent. But you can see for yourself at https://www.kickstarter.com//endangeredatlas/ulus-a-game-t. Please share this with your game-playing friends, your language-loving friends, your traveling friends, and your friends who are as passionately concerned about human rights as we are! See more

Excelente dueto. Mesma música, dois tons de voz, em duas línguas diferentes. O apaixonante Andrea Bocelli no estúdio da sua residência, aparecendo, também, sua esposa e filhos. E o cantor Ed Sheeran. Aprecie sem moderação... Fantástico

IPP (International Partnership Program) is a virtual experiential-learning program that engages Carleton University students in project-based development and fosters cross cultural understanding. In collaboration with our charitable partner, Students Offering Support (SOS), this program will connect Carleton students with youth ambassadors (ages 13-20) from rural Mayan communities of Guatemala to exchange perspectives and amplify stories of historically marginalized communities. Working in small groups, students will participate in the development of multimedia stories that illustrate the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals across various geographic and cultural contexts, with a focus on ethical storytelling. Application deadline: 30 October, 2020. https://carleton.ca/seo/international-partnerships-program/
