The Cultural Calories Pedicab is getting a makeover this weekend, and will not be available for hire until the week next week, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patronage.
Since you're on the computer, you're not far from your phone, call the Liberal Party now (I did 2x, took bout 4.3 minutes). This pipeline is too close to home to not voice our opinions about it. These are the numbers: Telephone: 604-606-6000 Toll-free: 1-800-567-2257... Facsimile: 604-632-0253 See more
The pedicab is going to be dressed up in some new digs very soon, keep your eyes peeled!
Busy applying for grants. Hoping to have an actual fleet up and running here soon! I am still looking for more drivers. Please call even if you're just a little bit curious about the job!!! I know that the pay rate is an area of interest for many, on the weekend nights I generally pull in between $15 and $35 an hour. In the summer I expect that the averages will be significantly higher. Ask me how! Please refer to the careerlink posting for additional information. You can e...mail any questions to [email protected]. Please share this status with people you know who may be looking for work!!! Thank you so very much for your support, Powell River. Much Love, CCPC See more

Hey Powell Rivierianites! Did you know that almost every week on CJMP, you can catch up with your MLA Nicholas Simons? Yes, it's true: check out Every Day Is Like Sunday every Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with your host Bad Karen. If you miss it, we're podcasting this segment now as a standalone show, or you can catch the whole episode of Every Day Is Like Sunday. See http://blog.cjmp.ca/cjmps-podcasts/ for recent podcasts. In this week's episode (http://www.cjmp.ca/podcast/index.php?id=192), Bad Karen and Nicholas Simons talk about this, that, the other thing: Drive Able; amendments to the Prevention of Cruely to Animals Act; the annual Trash Bash; local outdoor activities; the 2013 provincial election; the recent earthquake; and more... so much, much more...
