We are lucky to help and support many newcomer families as they get settled and established in our community. But sometimes, for different reasons, we can’t do ...as much as we’d like. And sometimes, though rare, we have an emergency we can’t solve on our own. Recently, we have become aware of newcomer family that has been forced to live in an environment that authorities have deemed unsafe due to a lack of running water, limited electricity, and multiple structural issues. Unfortunately, faced with discrimination and other challenges, this family currently has nowhere else to go. For this reason, we are asking you to help us help them. All funds raised will go towards securing and setting up a safe and accessible home for this family. We know times are tough, but together we can help make things a little less tough for one of our neighbours. We thank you for whatever support you can offer. See more
