Hey folks, Happy January! We are doing our best to get all of your favourite cheeses and treats restocked. In fact, we have 4 orders in transit right now and next week will be a big one for receiving! Fear not, we carefully plan for this time, and we still have lots of cheese. If you pop by this week, although we may not have all your favs, there is a silver lining to early January cheese shopping, which is that there is rarely a line-up!!... By the way, if anyone happens to have a photo of that crazy pre-Christmas line-up, please send it to us. Our old retired selves will really appreciate looking back on these days! See more

Our annual Atlin retreat did just for our family what we most needed. Lots of slow moments full of stars, not hockey stars, warm springs, okay not so warm, melted cheese, bubbly, books, arts and crafts and winter hiking. Just the right measure of adventure and recovery. Time for that extra slow second coffee in the morning, that extra snuggle, that midday snack (or nap) and that celebratory champagne we’d been saving. This quiet retreat was certainly worth celebrating!

What a year! 2020. What can I say? And I usually have a lot to say. I think I will need a few days to process all that has happened in my world and the greater world beyond. Thanks for your continued support through this rollercoaster of a year! And for sticking with us through our spring pivot, our whipped up website, our limited ability to communicate through the layers of plexiglass and masks and for still finding clear ways to convey connection and compassion with limite...d facial expressions and no hugs! Oh goodness, those hugs!! Thank you for seeing us through our busiest holiday season ever and for being such a kind, compassionate, patient and AMAZING community!!! So much love for you!!
