Hi everyone, We know the latest announcements from the Ontario government can be quite confusing , so we are going to keep this as simple as possible! Thankfully, the new regulations have not imposed any further restrictions for CVH. We're able to remain open with our regular hours and provide services to our patients as long as we remain curbside only. Curbside veterinary medicine in colder weather may be a challenge, but we will deal with any restrictions placed upon us... so we can continue to help all of our patients. As a reminder, the best way to place orders for food (ship to home available!) or medication is through our vetstore (www.myvetstore.ca/cumberlandvet) or by email ([email protected]). If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Hi again! We have received more information and are relieved that we are able to remain open and offer all of our services. We must remain strictly curbside, as we already were. Curbside in winter will be tricky, but we will do everything we can to stay open and help as many patients as possible! "Veterinary practices are considered essential workplaces and may remain open. Veterinary practices may only provide services that: ... are provided through curbside pick-up and dr...op-off of the animal. As requested by OVMA, the province has not imposed an urgent care only restriction on veterinary practices during this shutdown. Veterinary practices can still offer a full range of services, as long as the client does not enter the practice."

Hi everyone, Like many of you, we are awaiting further details regarding the impending lockdown. Unfortunately, we do not have any concrete answers as of right now. But please do remember, we were deemed an essential service at the beginning of the pandemic. We did not close. While we we're not able to offer all of our services; food orders, medication pick up and appointments for sick patients did continue. ... As always, please place all food orders and medication requests by email at [email protected] We will let you know as soon as we know more!

'Tis The Season! We strongly recommend ordering enough food and medication for your pets to last until January within the next week or so. Due to Covid-19 and all the online shopping, we are seeing some delays in shipping. Please note there are very few days to place orders during the last 2 weeks of December. As always, the best way to place your order is by email at [email protected]. ... You can TEXT us at our regular number, 613-834-7233 to order your pet's food or medication as well. AND you can place an online order through our MyVetStore at myvetstore.ca/cumberlandvet. Food orders are eligible for home delivery!

We had a vibration/bark/e-collar found in our parking lot last night. If your dog is missing their collar, please send us a message! Thank you!

We’re a little late in posting... but we we’re happy to celebrate our four amazing veterinary technicians during October for RVT month! We could not function without our RVT’s, they are so valuable to our hospital. It’s hard to believe but combined, they have been working at CVH for over 52 years. We are very lucky to have had such great vet techs for so long!
