I thought this was an interesting list, especially for those of us with kids who may be thinking of what now, or who have completed their degree without an idea of where to go next. Some of these I have/have read, others are new to me, and sometime I will explore them. If you're worrying about what next - why not see if a coach can help you explore possibilities!
Anyone who knows me well, knows how I love learning! One of the best and most compelling groups/organizations I belong to is a Canadian company called Tellent (https://wearetellent.com/) They've designed a new program: The Propeller Experience. An 8 week online program to help set women up to successfully find or build work that is worthy of t...hem. It offers mindset + skill set + networking to help you navigate your career in this new normal! I’m pretty pumped to get started! I'm sharing it with you because everything Tellent does is so supportive, and because they’re offering subsidized rates on the program. It’s $280 right now (normally almost $2k), but those rates are available on a first come, first served basis. Not sure how long that will last. Check it out. www.propellerexperience.com
Interesting article from the UK about those over 45 willing to invest in themselves and learn new skills. Plus if you've heard Dr. Sanjay Gupta speak on his new book 'Keep Sharp', build a better brain at any age, you'll know that being curious, and continuously learning helps keep our brains healthy and resilient! https://www.fenews.co.uk//62266-microsoft-research-today-r
It was a pleasure to chat with Dr. Paola Lake about Thriving and Conquering Ageism. Listen here to our conversation and please feel free to share: https://podcasts.apple.com//thriving-and-conq/id1508902361
