Let me introduce our student of the month, Kayla Fearon Kayla started her post-secondary journey at UNB in the Bachelor of Nursing Program, but life happened and after 2.5 years she left the program and took some time away from university to figure out her life goals. After working as a personal support worker for three years, she decided she needed a change and knew she wanted to finish a degree. When she discovered that Crandall offered the Degree Completion program she ...took the opportunity to get back on track with her goal to complete a Bachelor Degree. It was the perfect solution because she was able to transfer all her previous credits, not to mention she could continue working full-time to maintain her home while going to class in the evening. She began the program in January 2019 in Cohort 40. Shortly after beginning the program she ventured into the education sector and start working as an Educational Assistant. It was after that she decided she wanted to pursue the Bachelor of Education Degree to become a teacher as soon as she completed her undergraduate degree. Once she decided that, she became even more eager to finish the program. With a lot of support from her professors and the motivation to get to the next step Kayla started doubling her course load and managed to finish the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management in 19 months!! Kayla has recently began her Bachelor of Education degree here at Crandall and is well on her way to reaching her goal of becoming a teacher Kayla has said many times the degree completion program has changed my life for the better and recommends it to anyone. If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan. But never the goal. Congratulations Kayla

Let me introduce: Ashley Snyder (Cohort 37) who is the very first recipient of the Dr. Seth Crowell Entrance Scholarship!!! Hi Everyone, My name is Ashley Snyder and I have been in the Organizational Management program since September 2017. I decided to take this degree because I knew that I wanted to move up at my current job that I am in and improve my current skills. I work for a company called Autism Intervention Services and I write programing for pre-school aged chi...ldren with Autism. Working in this field is something that I am truly passionate about and it is something I want to pursue and continue doing for the rest of my working life. Upon completion of my degree, I plan to obtain my Bachelor of Education degree at Crandall so I can constantly be growing as an employee and as a person. I chose Crandall because I knew not working and going to school was not in the cards for me. Crandall allows me to still work my 40-hours a week while getting my degree. This experience has been so empowering and being the first person to ever receive this scholarship, was so rewarding to me. I wanted to say thank you to all my professors who have taught me so much and who have pushed me and opened my eyes to seeing my full potential. I also wanted to thank my boyfriend Jed because I would not have been able to do this without him, he is my number one supporter. Honestly, to anyone who is looking into furthering their education this program is for you. I feel beyond grateful for the opportunity to be apart of this journey. You enter into a cohort who eventually becomes family, I appreciate all my current classmates as well as miss all the others who I do not see anymore. Special shout out to Shelisa, Aaron, Kelly, Brooke, Mumba, Nathan, Shantilla and Becky. <3 "Congratulations Ashley!"

Meet Roen Robichaud our student of the month Cohort 39 "Before beginning my B.A. in Organizational Management at Crandall, I had went to University full-time without the capabilities of working while completing my degree. At Crandall, I found the best of both worlds. With knowledgeable instructors and the small class sizes, I am beyond happy with my decision to transition to this program that continues to allow me to fulfill my job while completing my degree one-night per week. Being a fast-paced program, I will only be graduating a year later than I would’ve at a traditional 4-year degree program. One-night per week for 3 years while earning money; it doesn’t get better than this. Get that degree done, it’s your turn.
