It has come to our attention that there have been concerns about masks that have been provided to members. We have look into the situation. These masks were pr...ocured by the school board and not through the central procurement process. members of 1196 and 1734, followed the proper procedure of making their supervisor aware of the concern and copying in their unions. As a result the masks have been sent for 3rd party testing, removed from the schools and new replacement masks have been sent out. We encourage everyone, when faced with a hazard you must notify your supervisor. We commend the members and executive of 1196 and 1734 for their great work on addressing this issue! See more
