Build your own Bouquet opportunity! As a thank you to my 2020 customers the farm will be open on Monday Sept. 28th between 2 and 5 pm (barring frost!) for a visit to the farm. Preparation for each market now is a bit bittersweet as there’s no telling if it’ll be the last one. Some of the dahlias have performed like workhorses and are almost spent and others are in their full glory, pumping out magnificent flowers like mad. I’m hoping the frost holds off but on the other hand there’s a ton of work to do to get the fields cleaned out before winter and I don’t want to be the one to kill the dahlias! It’s all about the zinnias today. I’m at home this week, lots of deadheading and staking today but all I wanted to do was suck in all the colour and take pictures! I have never seen so many wild pollinators at one time.
