Huge thank you to Julia Marie Loglisci the stunning photography, Alex Young Creative for the elegant design work and my beautiful models @amandazink @qaeeza @alex_youngg_ and @carmeldeserie for bringing my vision to life! The end of October marks my 2 year anniversary of moving to Victoria. When I moved back home to the island I knew I wanted to work exclusively with curls. At that time I on...ly had a little glimmer of what being a full time texture specialist would look like in practice, as I was always told in Vancouver it was too niche. I definitely would not be where I am today without the support of my friends, family, coworkers and amazing clientele! I am so grateful and my heart is so full! Last week @curlyhairvictoria recommended & gave me this product to test out... aaannndd WOW!! I LOVE it!! PS watch for my post on Monday morning which will include a Valentine’s Day giveaway in collaboration with @curlyhairvictoria & @thenaturalhairsalon . . Anyways! This amazingly light-weight gel gave my curls great definition, and was a DREAM to refresh on... day 2,3 & 4! . . Here’s my Wash Day method for applying products: Apply gel straight out of the shower (hair still wet) using the praying hands method Rake gel through my hair Scrunch to remove excess water (with hands and then microfibre towel) (photo 2) Allow hair to air dry Once hair was 70-80% dry (2.5hrs), I used my diffuser to finish off until fully dry! Then... TA DAAA!! (photo 3) . As a curly girl with Lo-Po 3B curls I love, love, LOVE this gel! Looking forward to trying other products within this collection/ company! .
