This door restoration was part of a larger renovation project with @e.n.grained and @procyshynandsonspaintingco We took the original door, stripped it down and added new modern looking glass stop and replaced the single pane with an insulated unit. Finally got some pictures of this attic window restoration job I did last year. The original sash had long since been replaced with cheap vinyl. the vinyl replacement was to big for the original opening, so the installers cut into the trim. So not only was the trim of disproportionate size, but the balance of proportion in the side-by-side sash was also disregarded. Luckily this home's more recent owner has a finer appreciation for the architectural esthetics of our heritag...e district and had me restore to its former glory.
