COVID -19 UPDATE #7 (Feb 8,2021) In compliance with the Newfoundland and Labrador Special Public Health Order of today, February 8, 2021, which included the su...spension of all group, team sports and recreation activities operating in the Eastern Health Zone 1 area (Conception Bay South to Witless Bay North) all Skate Canada NL Clubs and Skating Schools operating in Zone 1 must immediately cease operations until further notice. We have had a number of requests surrounding clarification around private lessons and have confirmed that ALL skating programs including those during which private lessons are offered are deemed to be group activities and must be suspended per this order. Out of an abundance of caution, we are also requesting that impacted skaters and coaches not seek guest skating/coaching opportunities in areas outside of Zone 1 while this Special Public Health Order is in effect. It is up to each and every one of us to do our very best to reduce the risk of transmission by full compliance with public health orders including limiting our number of contacts and movements.
