Another small counter piece for a small rustic cabin style home in New Brunswick is coming together, wonderful ripple grain in this little piece of willow.... and an interesting knot feature as an accent for this counter top...

Each fall we enjoy having a local school bring in their woodworking students to experience the wood business and take home some projects to work on. This year we celebrate with the students as they have completed the projects, and enjoy the accomplishment of making a one of a kind pieces. Well done guys, they look awesome!

Able to create a sweet little storage box for a special person, some reclaimed barn beam face and plush lining should keep those valuables in a nice place. Some design work on the top of the lid was fun to do, love the little challenge projects!

Back to the mainshop today, everything is so wet as nothing but torrential rain for days it seems here...so time to start drying things out and unpacking the gear.

4 slabs all sanded and ready to be made up... 2 walnut and 2 maple...ready in the satellite shop space for local NB folks who may be looking for a new table.
