We've all been there. I still remember how I failed my very first interview in a recruitment company. I was too focused on how much I wanted that job. I couldn't stop talking. I was so eager for them to know everything about my background and skills - the more, the better!... Most importantly, I wanted them to see how devoted and motivated I was. Back then, it seemed like the right thing to do. Years later, when I was the one sitting on the other side of the table, I saw many candidates do the same thing. It was like looking from the outside at myself during that first interview. I thought to myself: if only they could see what is going on in my head! If only they knew what I really wanted to hear from them to make sure they were ready to meet the decision maker. Now, I have found a way to do that. I have created a workshop to help #jobseekers see themselves from employers' standpoint and work through some of the barriers that prevent them from making a great impression during interviews.
