Canadian Wrestling’s Elite last private livestream broadcast hasn’t come without controversy and it is only just getting started! CWE produced its December 4th closed to the public event to an invasion of over 14 Winnipeg Police & By Law officers. ... After conversing with law enforcement and providing the proper paper work and highlighting the areas in the Manitoba Public Health Act that permitted the event to proceed the Winnipeg Police were in agreement that the event was able to proceed & multiple officers stated ZERO tickets would be issued prior to leaving the property the event was held on. Fast forward days later and the Public Health Inspector who was on site and unhappy with the police not allowing him to illegally fine anyone now had an axe to grind and returned with fines days after the fact in attempt to financially bully the organization. 12/9- Rescheduled CWE Edge Of Insanity Tour Dates. Unfortunately yesterday saw both the Manitoba and Alberta provincial governments extend current restrictions or impose new restrictions that will prevent public gatherings with an expiry date that surpasses our currently scheduled 8 events in December/January a part of The Edge Of Insanity Tour between the two provinces. As a result all 8 tour dates have been rescheduled into February in hopes that there aren't multiple more... extensions between the current expiration dates and the new tour dates and that the tour will be able to proceed as planned. The names EZ Ryder and Adam Knight have been synonymous with independent wrestling in Manitoba for 30 years. Two of the biggest and baddest heavyweights in the territory, these two men were fast tracked to main event attraction and heavyweight champions very early in their career and they never looked back. Both men crossed paths as Adam Knight broke into the business in the 90s in the Canadian Wrestling Federation but after that these two tough guys very rarely crossed paths ever again or at least for no considerable period of time.
