Cycling 4 Water is spending the weekend at the Abbotsford Agrifair! The Drive Thru Safari goes from today July 31st to Sunday August 2nd. Tickets are $15 per vehicle. Mike, Timo and Richard will be cycling on stationary trainers along with special guest cyclists joining throughout the weekend...raising awareness and getting ready for Sea 2 Sea 2 Sea 2021!

This may not come as a surprise. Our Cycling 4 Water team has decided to postpone our Sea 2 Sea 2 Sea ride till 2021. In the lead up to this decision, someone said, "Let's wait to see what happens with the Olympics." Well we all know the answer to that thought! Three key factors influenced our decision: The uncertain time line for the play out of Covid 19, safety concerns and the hit to the economy. The conclusion was that we would not be able to do justice to the cause if w...e went ahead under these circumstances. I have a mix of disappointment and maybe relief. My optimism would have kept the window open a bit longer but the rest of the team were convinced that these factors were too overwhelming and there was really no reason to postpone the decision to move the ride to 2021. So see you in June of 2021, we will hit the road, cycling from the Arctic to the Pacific to the Atlantic!
