It was quite a different summer...much quieter than we are used to with many challenges. We missed a lot of familiar faces and friends yet had the pleasure of meeting new campers that we hope to see again. A big thank you to everyone who was patient, kind and understanding as we navigated the Covid restrictions to help keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. Thank you to everyone who supported us and other small businesses this year. Enjoy the end of this lovely summer, stay healthy and safe ...we look forward to seeing you in 2021!

Cymbria Campground IS NOW OPEN to Islanders (all site types). We will be accepting campers from the Atlantic Provinces beginning July 3rd! Our swimming pool is OPEN! COVID Restrictions will apply. Please check with the office to book your pool time, and bring your own chairs. Reservations are mandatory (no walk-ins). Same-day reservations accepted by calling 902-963-2458 during business hours No visitors permitted... Washrooms/ showers will be limited to tenters & pop-ups only Rec room remains closed to guests until further notice All Provincial health guidelines (such as social distancing etc..) will be followed We will do everything we can to protect the health and safety of our Staff and our Guests Canada Day Festivities in North Rustico are cancelled Staff will be busy with extra cleaning and disinfecting- thanks for your assistance in keeping everyone safe Islanders and fellow Atlantic Canadians travelling within the region will not need to self-isolate for 14 days. However, some public health and screening measures will be maintained as part of the travel bubble: Atlantic visitors to Prince Edward Island will be required to complete a self-declaration form online and provide a copy of the completed form at points of entry to the province (form will be available before July 2); Public health and proof of residency screening will be maintained at points entry to all Atlantic Canadian provinces; All Atlantic Canada residents, including seasonal residents, should continue to practice physical distancing, regular hand washing, stay home if feeling unwell and contact a primary care provider or call 8-1-1 to be directed to testing for COVID-19. We are asking for your compliance regarding all policies we have in place for the health and safety of our staff and guests. PLEASE check our website and Facebook page for updates and information. Our policies are in place for a reason, there are no exceptions. READ our signs and guidelines as you enter the campground ONE PERSON at a time in the office will be strictly enforced for everyone’s health and safety. You must make a reservation by telephone or email prior to arrival. Should you arrive without a reservation, simply return to your vehicle and call from there. Please do not stand outside the office to do this, you may be blocking the entrance for someone who HAS a reservation, is checking out or wishing to make a purchase. June has been absolutely lovely this year, hot sunny days, warm summer nights...perfect camping weather! Bonfires and sunsets at the end of another great day

We are now taking reservations for tent sites! Beginning Friday, June 19th we will be welcoming campers in tents or pop-up/tent trailers. At this time, we are asking everyone to check all Covid related signage posted at the entrance to the office, follow Social Distancing procedures and be aware of the following guidelines. A camper should not enter the campground if experiencing COVD-19 symptoms, or is otherwise required to isolate. Campers must reserve their site online or ...by phone prior to arriving. Same day reservations by telephone are permitted Only members of the same household should stay together on a campsite in order to meet physical distancing requirements; Where possible, we encourage on-line, debit and credit transactions. Please observe gathering restrictions by staying in your own campsite unless leaving to use public washrooms/showering facilities or shared public spaces such as play fields. Campers in RVs/trailers must use the washroom & shower facilities in their own unit. In order to maintain social distancing, washroom facilities are for tent sites only. We are limiting the number of people in washroom facilities to a maximum of 5 OR one family at a time. Washrooms will be closed several times a day for cleaning and sanitization. Campers must observe limited capacity and closure for cleaning so we can do everything possible to protect the health and safety of our staff and guests. The Rec Room will be closed until further notice. Horse Shoes, volley ball & badminton will be available. Guests must sign out equipment. Campers are encouraged to bring a tablecloth or covering for picnic tables. The pool will be open, however there will be changes as per health and tourism guidelines. Changes you will see: There will be a sign in and sign out form. Anyone using the Pool area must register at the office. The pool may be closed briefly between groups to clean & sanitize We will limit the number of guests in the pool area to a safe number. You will see Covid Signs posted to remind guests of the importance of social distancing, good hygiene, etc. Personal Flotation Devices such as a Life Jacket, Arm Bands etc. (Attached to the body) will be permitted. All other flotation devices such as noodles, flotation chairs, inflatable toys will not be permitted. You will be asked to social distance as much as possible. Guests not following the NEW and existing rules may be asked to leave the Pool area immediately. There will be no seating available in the pool area. You are asked if possible to bring your own chair. Pool hours will be 10:00am 8:00pm as usual. We thank all of our guests and staff for helping to make this season as fun and safe as possible.
