Who would’ve thought that house shopping in the middle of the pandemic would pay off? After losing a couple of bidding wars, Ivan and Polly found the perfect place to call home. Surprisingly, this one didn’t have an offer date. However, given the neighbourhood trends, I knew the sellers would get multiple offers. We acted quickly! ... They asked us for a 24 hour irrevocable because it was too soon to receive offers. Did I listen? Nope! I guess you could say we bullied our way into this. More offers started to roll in after we submitted our offer. We were in a bidding war. But with a little aggressiveness and flexibility, we successfully got the deal! I couldn’t be more happier for them!! Congrats guys!

The craziest thing that I've ever done: I jumped out of an airplane while strapped to another human. It was a milestone birthday for Adrian that year so for his birthday I got him skydiving lessons...for the both of us. I've always been scared of heights. The feeling of falling always made my stomach churn. ... And yet, here I was, ready to jump out of a plane! I was thrilled. I was nervous. I was scared out of my freaking mind! We got on the plane and I remember thinking, what if my instructor's parachute fails to open? I remember looking down from 10,000 ft up in the sky and thought there's no turning back. I did it. I jumped out of the plane and it was amazing. The first few seconds were pretty scary. I remember trying to scream but nothing came out. But then my instructor opened up the parachute and we were flying in the sky. It was the most exhilarating feeling. The view from up there was so incredible. It really felt like my senses came alive in that moment. I got to see the world from an unfamiliar point of view. This experience taught me that fear is all in our head. Once we can overcome these mental blocks and shift our mindset, amazing things can happen. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
