How to help someone in a family violence situation: Legal Aid Alberta is offering a free, one hour, online information session on Wednesday, November 25th, at 12:00pm. http://ow.ly/ozvc50CniHL

The tax payment deadline is November 30, as of December 1st the penalty for non payment is 7.5% as per Bylaw 2020/13. There are multiple options for payment including: - Online banking - Through the County website www.cypress.ab.ca - At the County office via cash, cheque, or credit card (fees apply) - Mail in a cheque (must be postmarked November 30th or prior to be considered on time)

This month alongside Remembrance Day we wish to honour those who have served or are currently serving for their country. Submit a photo to [email protected] of you or someone in your family in their service uniform, at the end of the month we will create a collage of the photos sent in that will be displayed each November at the Cypress County office and online. We will give away two gift cards at the end of the month picked at random from the submissions. (By entering the giveaway, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by Cypress County to create a Remembrance collage. Winner must be able to collect prize from Dunmore, Alberta. Giveaway in no way endorsed or sponsored by Facebook. Contest will close at 11:59pm MST 11/30/2020. Winners will be picked at random and notified via email by 12/06/2020)
