Basement is complete. Once again we had the pleasure of working with Great clients. We definitely appreciate when people are thankful for the effort that goes into doing a job correctly. On to the next project....... Stay tuned.

Basement continues. Pre-painting the baseboard, and door casing. Then priming the walls and ceilings......2 coats is necessary. After a splash of paint, we can start laying the vinyl flooring down. Vinyl flooring has come along way, and this time we are using lifeproof Vinyl plank flooring. ... It’s a great product. Let’s hear what you think about this one so far? Basement continues with Pot lighting, 1000ft of wire, soundproofing insulation, plumbing for a wet bar, and once all of the prep is done, we can throw some drywall up. (We don’t actually throw it, we carefully measure and cut each piece to have as tight a fit as possible.)

When we do a basement renovation, we like to start from square one. That way we ensure the bulkheads are straight, any walls that we build are level, and we can plan things so that each step after the framing is easier. In this basement we removed the existing bulkheads, and built our own. We only use 2x4s to make sure they don’t sag, and stay straight.

We were asked to also do a backsplash, replace the kitchen ceiling, and remove and repair the sink mounts in this clients home. We were already renovating their washroom completely so they wanted to have everything done at the same time. It amazes me every time we have to repair another contractors work, and do it right. Isn’t it just easier to do the job properly?

We are one step closer to completing the stairs at this home. Railing is now installed, all that’s left is to add the final trim, paint the main posts and do a good cleanup. Remember, the job is not complete until the job site is clean.

We completed some work previously for these clients, they were great to work with and decided to have us back to complete another few projects. Here is a main floor powder room partial Reno that we just completed. Removal of old toilet, vanity, mirror and lighting. Custom built board and batten wainscoting on lower section, all smoothed and painted. Then a new vanity, new toilet, light, mirror and brushed nickel accents. Pay attention to the details. That’s the key to standing above your competition.

More work at the house that we are giving the complete upper floor a makeover. This one gets removal of carpet on stairs, and a complete new oak stair case with painted oak risers. Stay tuned as we will have an oak handrail as well...........

Here is a home we are doing the complete upstairs floor. Drywalled all of the ceilings in the upstairs, insulate and drywall a few walls that were in need, added new pot lights through all the bedrooms, new interior doors, all new flooring , baseboard and trim. And next up is adding a complete dark oak staircase with new dark oak handrail and white spindles.

Here is a custom built barn door. We couldn’t get the proper size..... So why not just build one from scratch........... Ok, consider it done.
