Next week we are relaunching road tests for all license classes. We're looking forward to getting Albertans back on the road quickly and safely.
We know Albertans are eager to get back on the road. We're giving those who had their road tests cancelled by COVID-19 first priority to rebook their tests, then fully relaunching road tests for all license classes at the end of the month.
Good news Alberta, we have road test updates! We continue to accept applications for Classes 1-4 and Class 5 Advanced for healthcare workers. You can download the application online at Alberta.ca https://alberta.ca/road-testing-for-class-1-to-4-drivers-du and submit it via email to Alberta Transportation. Next week, June 15-18, Class 1-3 commercial drivers who had their road tests cancelled because of COVID-19 will be contacted to rebook their road tests. ... The following week, June 2326, those who had their road tests cancelled due to COVID-19 in all remaining license classes will be invited to rebook their tests. We are giving Albertans who had their road test cancelled to have the first opportunity to rebook their tests. By the end of the month, we plan to fully relaunch road tests in Alberta for everyone in all license classes. We look forward to getting Albertans back on the road quickly and safely.

Have you ever tried to make a right turn at a red light and had to move up almost into the intersection because the vehicle to your left (waiting for the green light to go straight or left) is too far forward? There isn't much you go do at the moment but you can decide to adjust your position the next time are in the position of the vehicle waiting to go straight or turn left. Consider stopping a little further back from the crosswalk so that the driver in the right turning vehicle can more easily see the vehicles approaching from the left.

A person with a class 7 learners license cannot be supervised by someone who is impaired. The supervisor needs to be in a state of sobriety such that they could legally operate the vehicle themselves.
Instead of keeping the $1,425 he won at his company's (Progressive Rubber Industries Inc.) Christmas Party, KC Lund donated it to helping those experiencing hom...elessness! Then, Progressive Rubber Industries Inc. (PRI) matched the donation, bringing the total to $2,850! We made a donation earlier in the year of about 30lbs of cooked pork that was left over from a company lunch. While there, I saw how many people were using the services at The Mustard Seed and thought it was a cause we wanted to get behind, said Jeff Winger, Vice President of Manufacturing at PRI. I also worked one summer feeding the hungry in uptown Chicago, so it is close to my heart. It may only take one event in life and then there you are in line at a soup kitchen, said Winger. Share your blessings. The only true way to show you are thankful for where you are in life is to give back.
Come cheer on our senior basketball teams! Tickets are on-sale now at the front office for $2!
Shout out to Jack Carter for donating a truck-full of toys for our guests. Our shelter guests give these toys to their kids. In doing so, it provides a bridge ...for them to reconnect with their families. This is the 14th year Jack Carter has done this for our guests. It is what the Christmas season is all about. Thank You.
