20 years ago, when we opened DACAPO, we had very little budget for building the studio so we ended up doing as much of the renovation ourselves as we could. We also talked our friends, like Dale Sood, and relations, like Angela Derksen into helping...

In 1998 when we moved into our building at 516 Hargrave Street, the exchange district was a little 'sketchier' than it is now. Over the last 20 years, the exterior of our building has changed a lot, and thankfully so has the entire neighbourhood (for the better).

On February 4th, 1999 Clinton Skibitzky, Olaf Pyttlik and Nolan Balzer opened DACAPO Productions. This coming February, we are celebrating 20 years in business, and all 3 of us still work here. Amazing! Over the next month, we are going to post archived images from the last 20 years. Thanks to all our Clients, Talents, Employees and everyone else who helped us stick around for 2 decades!
