This is the place where I went with my dachshund Sarotti, the training went very well for us , we learned a lot! If you ever trained a Dachshund, you know that they have their own mind and try to resist to obedience, but you can train them!!

Peanut butter is toxic for your dog. Yup. There it is. If you aren’t sitting down, go find a chair cuz you’re gonna need it.... You may use peanut butter as a treat But you’ll be tossing the jar by the end of this post. Here's why peanut butter is toxic for your dog PEANUT BUTTER CONTAINS AFLATOXINS (WHICH CAUSE CANCER) Aflatoxins are naturally-occurring mycotoxins that are produced by a fungus called Aspergillus. Aflatoxins are one of the most carcinogenic (cancer-causing) substances on the planet And peanuts are full of them!! On top of that, aflatoxins can be toxic to the liver. They have caused liver cancer in tests done on lab animals. In fact, The FDA even warns about the risks of aflatoxin exposure: From acute exposure: Acute exposure to high doses of AFs can result in aflatoxicosis, with the target organ being the liver, leading to serious liver damage. AFs inhibit the normal functions of the liver, including carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and protein synthesis." From chronic exposure at sublethal doses: cancer, impaired protein formation, impaired blood coagulation, toxic hepatitis, and probable immunosuppression. In animals, AFs may cause, in addition, reduced weight gain and reduced feed-conversion efficiency. Dr Andrew Weil also shared the results of a Consumer Union study. They reviewed the levels of aflatoxins in various peanut butters. The brands with the lowest levels of toxins were big brands like Jif and Skippy. The highest levels were found in peanut butter ground fresh in health food stores. But before you put that Jif container back in the cupboard, keep reading.... PEANUT BUTTER CONTAINS HARMFUL FATS Trans-fatty acids are one of the most toxic food substances. Trans fats are the result of the hydrogenation process designed to make food more stable and sit on store shelves for long periods. Hydrogenation takes a plant oil, adds a nickel catalyst, heats it then removes the nickel catalyst. This results in a highly toxic fat And this fat is linked to diabetes, heart disease and chronic inflammation. Always check labels for trans fats before you buy. If you see hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils put it back! To add insult to injury, roasting nuts can also cause fats in peanuts to go rancid. PEANUT BUTTER CONTAINS SUGAR Sugar is one of the main reasons dogs go to the vet. Sugar contributes to yeast, bacteria, parasites and cancer. It can also cause diabetes, food allergies, premature aging and low-level inflammation. Speaking of inflammation PEANUT BUTTER HAS UNBALANCED FATS Peanuts are high in good monounsaturated fats, but their omega 6 to 3 ratio is terrible. One cup of peanuts contains 35578mg of omega-6 fatty acids and only 196mg of omega-3 fats. Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids can trigger inflammation. Inflammatory conditions in dogs include allergies and joint disease. PEANUT BUTTER CONTAINS GLYPHOSATE As if everything else wasn't bad enough... Farmers spray GMO crops with Roundup and other herbicides to prevent weeds. But that's not the only time they use them ... 7 -10 days before harvest it's common to spray some crops with herbicides. It helps farmers increase their bottom line in 4 ways... 1. It initiates an earlier harvest. 2. It produces a larger yield. 3. Makes it easier for farm machinery to harvest crops without strain. 4. Allows for earlier replanting. THE PROBLEM IS... This pre-harvest spray contaminates the crop with glyphosate... the active ingredient in Roundup and other herbicides. Which is dangerous for your dog. A recent study found that exposure can increase cancer risk by 41%. Glyphosate has also been labeled a probable carcinogen by the World Health Organization. And the top brands use crops sprayed with this crap... In 2018 the Health Research Institute tested the Skippy brand of peanut butter... it contained 11.71 ng/g of glyphosate. With these risks found in peanut butter, next time you give your dog a treat... Skip the Skippy! Give your dog a treat that won't hurt him. Full post in the comment section
