As women we are terrible at receiving. When someone pays you a compliment, what is your response? Someone tells you "I love your blouse!" What do you answer? ..."Oh, this old thing? I got it on sale." Or "I made this card for you." and your response goes something like "Oh, you shouldn't have! It was really nothing." It feels so good to give, so why not allow the giver to fully experience it? Try this for the next 10 days; when you receive, say "Thank you!" and smile and mean it!
