Dagley Media 10.11.2020

Please note the wedding livestream I did last night was a test of streaming pre recorded and edited video files from an SD Card on the YoloBox livestream device. Laura and Ben were married at the Digby Pines in 2019 (congrats again!) before the pandemic which is why protocols were not followed because at the time they didn’t exist. I look forward to a time when wedding guests can feel free to party on the dance floor like this again soon. Thanks for watching.

Today, Nov. 11 we honoured and remembered the sacrifices of those veterans past and present that have allowed us to have the freedom we do in Canada. It was my ...honour to be able to provide the livestream of the Waverley service with the help of Dagley Media so the community could still feel apart given COVID19 restrictions. With that, The Laker News purchased two wreaths from the Waverley Legion Royal Canadian Legion Dieppe Br90 to place at their Remembrance Day services at the Waverley service and in Windsor Junction. Last week, I reached out to a friend Helen Hines to see if I would have her okay to place one at the Waverley Legion in memory of her fiancée, SLt. Matt Pyke, who I knew through the fire service. I felt it was proper for me to ask for Helen’s blessing so as to not cause any ruffles without asking. She said I could, so today I did and I was honoured to have been able to do this. I am grateful that the Legion allowed the wreath placing to be one of the four in-person they did at their service. Thank you. In Windsor Junction, a cross/wreath was placed at the cenotaph there by a Legion representative for us. The wreath was placed in memory of all those who served. At the going down of the sun, We will remember them. We will remember them. #LestWeForget See more

The Laker News and Dagley Media....Bravo Zulu on your streaming of Remembrance ceremony today! Due to you we were able to watch and participate from our living ...room today. As a veteran I feel it is important to observe this day as a day of remembrance but also a day of hope. Thank you to all that served and my brothers and sisters that continue to serve. Lest we forget! See more
