I was scrolling through my phone... looking at all the many blessings, trials and triumphs of the year... and I came across this... Rosie came to us this summer. She was a rescue and 100% she was meant to come to us. The boys and I adore her... and she shows so much love that She could heal even the saddest of hearts. This video shows the true joy of something so simple and sweet! This is what I wish f...or all of you this year... that you can all have those moments that warm your heart right to the core. I am thankful for so many many things... and this sweet gem is one of them!! Happy 2021 everyone ! This rings true always... but definitely as this year comes to an end. I find some days I am amazed at the kindness others show... then other days I’m amazed at how I need to be reminded to show grace and kindness even when it’s not being given my way. We don’t always know what others are going through, and we can’t control their actions, words etc... but we can control how we react. And an act of kindness.... can be the change needed! Hang in there everyone ... the sun will rise tomorrow!

Owning a business comes with many highs... and many lows! The unknowns are scary, yet the triumphs are amazing! Opening the store was a dream of mine after years and years of chronic, agonizing, dismal health issues! I never ever could have imagined that opening the store would bring my heart so much joy and love! I have met the most amazing customers! But... I have also been blessed to have the most amazing staff that I truly feel is like my family! What a gift to laugh with, cry with, and know your staff has your back, and they know I have theirs! Time for a great big huge Thank You to all the amazing people filling our orders, packing our goods, and delivering them to us! All the courier drivers and Canada Post workers are dealing with a tremendous overload to get our parcels sent and received. I know some customers have been frustrated that some of our stock hasn’t arrived as early as hoped for.... but I am a firm believer that right now there is much we can’t control... but one thing we can control is our attitude.
