I want to take a moment to thank everyone that has supported our business over the last few very difficult weeks. These have been the toughest times for sure. As we have gone around to businesses and health care facilities the smiles and warm welcomes are so very much appreciated. It helps in these times of uncertainty to be kind to others. None of us asked for this virus. Lets all keep up the good vibes! It makes everyone's day better. Phase 3 is two weeks away! Lets keep IT together so that Phase 4 is not long after! For our long term care residents, the no visitors policy currently in place not only means they can’t enjoy face-to-face visits, it also means their families an...d friends can no longer drop off the special treats that often brightened their days. So the staff at Parkland Place in Melfort came up with a plan. A Goodie Cart is now making the rounds at the home. It plays music and even has a bell that announces its arrival, just like the bicycle ice cream carts you can still sometimes see in the summer. Residents have really taken to the fun new concept and are making suggestions for staff to change it up throughout the week. There is no cost to residents.
