New Training Announcement: Respectful Workplace and Harassment Prevention Training. This training will take place from 9- 12 pm on Friday, February 28, 2020, Ca...pital Hotel St. Johns, NL. This training is a stand-alone seminar and is open to everyone. Cost for MNL members: $50 (taxes included) Cost for non-members: $75 (taxes included) The new Occupational Health and Safety Regulations for Violence and Harassment Prevention have been in effect since January 1, 2020. Employers and employees are required to report and address workplace harassment and worker-on-worker violence. Employers are responsible to provide training to all employees regarding this new legislation. Upon completion of this half-day seminar participants will: Be familiar with harassment policies. Know the definition of various forms of harassment. Understand what constitutes workplace bullying. Be familiar with examples of prohibited behaviours.
