The MSSDU will be hosting virtual sessions to practice MMI-style questions. Running from 7:30-8:30pm on Tuesday evenings, beginning on January 19, questions will be provided and participants will be placed into breakout rooms with a peer to practice answering interview questions and to get some feedback. The Dalhousie Athletic Trainer Program is currently seeking applicants for the 2021-2022 season! The program is run out of the Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic and provides students an opportunity to work with varsity and contact club teams as a student athletic trainer providing on-field preventative and emergency care to athletes. The MSSDU is happy to help support Laing House in this year's virtual Bluenose Marathon. The Stigma Stompers team, consisting of members and staff at Laing House, completed a 5k walk, as a group, on November 5th. Collectively, the team hopes to ‘stomp the stigma’ surrounding mental health as well as to raise money to help fund other healthy living programs so we can assist more youth in Nova Scotia.
