Work continues to progress at the addition and renovation project we are leading at the Oratory of St. Philip Neri project in Toronto’s west end. The goal of the project is to provide enhanced living and working space for students who visit from Canada and abroad to study at the Seminary. First order of business for our team was the demolition of two buildings, which had to be completed with great care to avoid damage to the Oratory’s adjoining building. Excavation work was then performed by one our trusted trade partners, Lions Demolition, to set the stage for footings and the foundation. Working in a bustling residential area on a restricted site with little space to maneuver and store materials has certainly posed its fair share of challenges, which our team has addressed through careful planning and on-site coordination.

The Bata Shoe Factory has been honoured with a Green Building Award in the Large Residential category. Dalton is proud of our collaboration with Batawa Development Corporation and Quadrangle Architects in our role as construction manager to help achieve this esteemed award.

We're pleased to announce that the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri has hired Dalton as Construction Manager to lead the renovation of St. Philip’s Seminary in Toronto’s west end. The goal of the project is to provide enhanced living and working space for students who visit from Canada and abroad to study at the Seminary. Once completed, the $4M project will replace half of the present seminary buildings with a new, purpose-built structure.
