I don't even know how to respond to all your messages and comments. I'm a little blown away by it. So I wanted to share a little about myself and how you've all inspired me. When I was 18 I got into an accident and had trouble walking ever since. 17 years later I find out it wasn't the accident. It was something called ankylosing spondylitis where your immune system attacks your spinal cord. It was just in my lower back but now it's in my rib cage. The pain from this i...s unreal. I figured out the more I walk and move the less it hurts. So imagine laying on the couch shaking in pain knowing the only thing that makes it go away is to walk it off. So all this walking around I started noticing little things. I was so focused on staring at every little thing, and noticing how amazing some of these things are that I'd never noticed, I forgot I was in pain at all. Which made me buy a camera. And then a better camera. And it just kept going. Before I knew it I sold everything I owned for better camera gear like an addict lol. Then people start saying "where is this" or "that's amazing" when I post some of the stuff we see on these adventures. So now you guys have me out have me out with pinched nerves in both my legs, walking through 3 feet of snow carrying fifty pounds of crap, with 80 kmh winds trying to find something else you don't know is out there. Everytime I go out my mind is so clear it's almost loud. No pain, no thoughts just a loud silence. But the best part is just the peace you get from it. The recharge. It's always been the reason I've shared. If I can get out there there's a pretty good chance you can too. These last few years with this camera have been the best years of my life. I've made so many amazing memories when I could have just laid down and let it ruin me. Doctors say the only thing that will help is drugs. It's not. It's finding that one thing that shuts it all off and makes it go away. This is what you guys have given me. A reason to get up and do it all over again everyday.
