Happy Valentine's Day Folks! A quick note as some of you have asked what the time is for today's online FB Concert. As well, just in case you are wondering, the concert should be a little over an hour in length. Here are the times: Europe ~ 9:00 PM; UK ~ 8:00 PM; Atlantic Canada ~ 4:00 PM; Eastern Canada ~ 3:00 PM... As well, this is listed as a free event and you are very welcome to come in and listen. Should you care to make a donation my 'tip jar' can be found here: paypal....me/danmckinnonconcerts And should you be considering downloading any of my music you can find my two most recent CDs here at Bandcamp: https://danmckinnon1.bandcamp.com Looking forward to singing for you all very soon!

Shake me, pinch me, I must be dreaming!!! When embarking on this musical path one never fully knows nor understands just how far the tendrils of their music will reach nor just where their passion will take them. Case in point: I have owned and played my Gallagher Guitar for 35 years now and I cannot imagine performing with any other guitar as my primary instrument. Recently a fan contacted Gallagher guitars about myself and my constant touring companion, and the rest, shall we say, is history, or at least a continuing part of this story... https://www.gallagherguitar.com/dan-mckinnon/

Before too much time passes I want to thank everyone who managed to tune in to my first online concert. I hope you enjoyed the evening and the music! Though there were several 'glitches', I am working hard to improve things for the next time 'round. Though, if you don't mind me saying, sitting down with my fingers on a fretboard is much more enjoyable for me than sitting down with my fingers on a computer keyboard. ;-) ... If you have the time and the inclination, I would love to hear from you regarding any things you may have experienced with the evening in the hopes that I can, with a 'little' outside help, look into correcting any problems you may have encountered with last night's show. The learning curve is steep, but you have to start somewhere. And as my grandmother used to say, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!" So I carry on to go back at it another day! Stay safe and hopefully I'll 'see' you next time around. Once again, many thanks for coming along. ~ Dan
