Happy International Polar Bear Day! In 2019 when I attended the Robert Bateman Artist Masterclass I managed to snap this photo, my art icon talking about his painting of one of my favourite animals. One day I’ll go on my dream trip to Churchill Manitoba to see these incredible bears! Did you know their fur is translucent and their skin is jet black?

It's Friday!! YAY! That means I'll have two days all to myself to paint!!! I really do love weekends!! Last night I got creative and thought I'd do a side by side of a painting and the reference photo - Here is a split photo of the recently finished painting of Kitty and the reference photo that Kitty's dad provided.
