This is Us. Aubrey and Jessie Margolis. Father and Daughter. Owners of Danali. Aubrey has owned Danali for 35 years, in three different locations, bringing it to the corner of Grant and Kenaston, where we stand today. I (Jessie) started working here part time while in university, and full time for the last 6 years. As business owners, we wear many hats - and right now, more hats than ever.... Aubrey makes it his personal goal to do whatever it takes to help make someone’s day better. If you’ve ever met him, you know this about him. It sets him, and Danali, apart. Community involvement has always been a strong value of ours: from personally handing out winter parkas to those who need, to making annual donations to numerous charitable organizations. He will go out of his way to brighten someone’s day or make someone smile. Then I came along. With the same passion that my dad has for the business but a head full of new ideas on how to modernize, developing an online presence and a set of fresh buying eyes. I’m really proud to come to work everyday and be alongside my dad in the business that he built. I’d say we make a pretty good team. One of the best. We wanted to take this time to introduce ourselves to those of you who just started following us on here. Thank you for joining us. We are excited for you to learn more of what Danali and our team is all about.

Small businesses are suffering. Closing small businesses while keeping big box stores open is not going to curb the spread of the virus. How can 700 people be inside Costco safely and not one in a store like ours? Speaking for small business owners, we were unfairly targeted. We were not the source of the spread. We enforced the safest sanitization protocols and had the capacity to carefully maintain them.... We are happy to be shutdown, if the city is on lockdown, but it’s not.
