Happy Wednesday all Fact about me: I have ADHD! Being ADHD has had some complications over the years, but I’ve learned how to focus it better. The key to dealing with it is not seeing it as an impedance, knowing your weaknesses and focusing on your strengths. ... Photography background: I was self taught for 4 years by reading books, watching YouTube tutorials, and good ol’ fashion trial and error on creative shoots Studied creative photography at Humber College (which improved my skill and mindset significantly) 5 years working for a volume photography company shooting and retouching portraits of kids at schools, sports clubs and dance studios I shot my first wedding over 12 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Sure a lot can happen on a wedding day, but I just love thinking quick on my feet and steering the chaos. There is so much love and happiness on a wedding day that it just draws me in! Here are three tips every couple should know before getting their photos done: Pick a few outfits. Try them on & make sure you’re comfortable in them. Be ready to change in your car or in a bush - lots of times a nearby washroom isn’t an option. Don’t be afraid to get CLOSE. The closer the better. I always say you want to be close enough that you can’t be cropped out. Relax and trust your photographer...after all, you chose them for a reason! ...
