Some kids are at the studio all day. Some kids are hanging out all day. Some parents spend hours driving their kids to "everything" dance. Some parents spend hours driving around looking for their kids.... ... Some parents are spending their hard earned money on dance classes, shoes, costumes, etc. for their children. Some parents are spending their hard earned money on lawyers for their children. As a dance teacher who has seen a couple of generations of dance kids grow into successful adults, I am confident that the $$$$ and the time spent are the best investments a parent could make. And if you add to that the memories, friends, and life lessons . . . what more could a parent ask for?!

Without the parents there would be no dancing lessons for any child :-) THE DANCE MOMS (and dads) I KNOW HAVE anonymously paid for other children’s tuition, shoes, costumes, etc., just because they cared. THE DANCE MOMS (and dads) I KNOW HAVE taken on a second job so that their child has the opportunity to experience the wonderful world of dance. THE DANCE MOMS (and dads) I KNOW HAVE sat at the studio (with me) until 2:00 AM sewing so that the dancers had a costume the next day, and their child wasn’t even in the class. THE DANCE MOMS (and dads) I KNOW HAVE sacrificed family vacations, reunions, graduations and other lifetime events so that their child could keep their commitment to dance.
