We understand this is a difficult time for you all as you have been working so hard and looking forward to this moment for a long time. Today is May 30th which would have been Dance City Academy's 14th recital! Although we wish we were at the theatre today watching you all dance one last time and celebrating the young women and beautiful dancers yo...u have become, we are celebrating with you from a far and know that this experience will only make you all stronger in the end. Today was the final day of zoom dance classes....for now! Thank you to a few of our amazing teachers who volunteered their time to teach these free classes each week so we all could have a platform where we could connect as a dance family. Kids were encouraged to dress up in a costume for this week's classes. Keep a look out for more opportunities to dance and connect together missing our dancers more than ever.

The Dance City Academy Tour Group in West Kelowna BC, wanted to find a way, during this unknown time, to give back to their community. They decided as a virtual team to collect non-perishable items for the West Kelowna Food Bank and did so in the way they love best...DANCE!

Happy Mother's Day to all of DCA's awesome dance moms! Thank you for driving us to and from dance, sitting through hours of competition and recitals, helping us sew costumes and shoes.
