Happy New Year!!! I know it's been quiet over here, but I'm hoping to be more active this year. I have started a 52 week project with 52Frames to get me motivated. Week 1 is #selfportrait I haven't done one of these for a while. It was nice to get back into the game!!

Today is Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Day. When I booked this dress in July 2019 I had great plans for a super meaningful session in the halls where many families have celebrated joy and loss. This wonderful woman (who I am proud to call my niece) is a NICU nurse. She is an angel to many families. Some who get to take their babies home and some who don't. Here she's with Sister Bear. A teddy bear given to me when my little was born too early to survive. It's not quite the session I wanted, but it still brings tears to my eyes writing this.
