Change is difficult but inevitable. Unfortunately we have to announce that after 22 years at our west Toronto location, our rental agreement will end on February 28th, 2021. We will be finding a new location, but we have decided to wait a few months until we can all return to dancing. However, we are still here to serve you, We have updated our website with more information about our move and how we will continue to serve you. When we found out our lease was ending we could ...have taken sixty days but that didn't seem like a good idea since we are closed due to the lockdown anyway. Our lease is ending because our landlord wants to use the space for his own purposes, and has nothing to do with the pandemic. This September marks our 40th anniversary. This is not the end of Dance Plus! With the continued support of the dance community we hope to keep serving dancers for many years to come.
Sad news. After 22 years at our west Toronto location, our landlord has ended our lease. We WILL find a new location. The Dorchester location will be closed as of February 28th. This September is our 40th anniversary, we are not stopping now! Stay tuned.
Glitz, metallics, customization and innovation are the trends we are seeing from the major ballroom dance shoe brands. I've just posted an blog article with lots of photos summarizing the new trends we are seeing. I'd love some feedback on the article if anyone is so inclined.
This new line makes us feel very proud to be the Canadian distributor for International Dance Shoes for the last 40 years and the next 40 years!
Thanks Justin! We are all in this together. Don’t forget your dance teacher, they need your support.
We all have to find creative solutions to keep doing what we love. I love this gentleman’s creative solution.
It’s International Dance Day. How are you keeping your passion for dance alive? https://www.cnn.com//international-dance-day-we/index.html
Ah the wisdom of the past....
https://youtu.be/z0aMJK1TszM We’ve always been big fans of Derek Hough and his sister Julianne Hough at Dance Plus, and we were lucky enough to see them compete in Blackpool when they were kids. However, the routine they pulled off for last night’s Disney special on ABC while isolating in different locations is amazing. I’ve yet to find a clip of the whole performance, but even the sneak peak on ET is worth watching.
