Emma Viglianti was born on August 26th 2003 and is very much a "practical, responsible and loyal" Virgo. When asked to describe herself in one word Emma chose motivated; which she has demonstrated time and time again since joining the DB family in 2007. Emma has received early acceptance into Canadian Universities and we are so excited to share her final decision in the spring. We are thrilled to have @zachsmash join us as our first surprise guest choreographer tonight! With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching we know our dancers are going to love his classes. Check out his bio below and get ready for an amazing evening! Zach Heller started his training in ballet and jazz in Alexandria, VA. During his early training he performed with the American Dance Company under the direction of Mark Marino. He attended the University of Arizona and... in 2008 graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. 2020-2021 marks Zach's thirteenth season performing with Giordano Dance Chicago. With Giordano Dance Chicago he has traveled throughout the US as well as Guatemala, Germany, Austria, Italy, The United Kingdom, Turkey, Latvia, and Israel. Throughout his career he has performed works by choreographers such as; Gus Giordano, Mia Michaels, Peter Chu, Frank Chaves, George Balanchine, Brock Clawson, Marinda Davis, Ray Leeper, Sherry Zunker, Douglas Neilsen, Randy Duncan, and many others. Zach is on faculty for dance conventions such as Grand Prix International, The Star Dance Alliance's PowerPak and Studio Invasion Tour, and WILD Intensive, as well as teaching and choreographing for studios and youth companies in the Chicago area and throughout the U.S. Zach’s mission is to get young dancers psyched about classical and contemporary jazz and ballet techniques. #dancersburlingtonelite #dancersburlington See more

Aly Luciani was born on September 24th 2003 and became a member of the DB family in 2008. She is a Libra and when asked to describe herself in one word she chose "Indestructible". Yesterday, our DB dancers celebrated the life of Karen Morrison by wearing pink to class in honour of her 8 year battle with breast cancer. A donation has been made on behalf of our DB family to the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Karen’s memory. #dbfamily #dancersburlington
